To uninstall software programs in Windows XP, it is necessary to log on with a Computer Administrator account. To uninstall software programs in Windows 2000, it is necessary to log on as a user with administrative privileges (a user who belongs to the Administrators group). When you update the printer software in Windows XP, Me or 2000 please be sure to uninstall the previous printer software before you install the new software.
